Diagnostic Procedures:

Image-Guided Biopsy : We offer image-guided biopsy services to obtain tissue samples from tumors and lesions throughout the body. Therapeutic Interventions:

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA): RFA is a minimally invasive procedure that uses heat energy to destroy tumors. It is particularly effective for small tumors in the liver, kidney, lung, and bone. RFA offers a less invasive alternative to surgery and can be performed as an outpatient procedure with minimal recovery time.

Microwave Ablation (MWA): MWA is another thermal ablation technique that utilizes microwave energy to heat and destroy tumors. MWA may be preferred in certain situations where RFA is less effective, such as larger tumors or tumors near blood vessels. It offers precise tumor targeting and rapid heating, leading to efficient tumor destruction.

Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE): TACE is a targeted therapy for liver cancer that delivers chemotherapy drugs directly to the tumor site while blocking the tumor's blood supply. By combining chemotherapy with embolization, TACE can effectively shrink tumors, control their growth, and improve symptoms in patients with liver cancer.

Yttrium-90 Radioembolization (Y-90): Y-90 radioembolization is a minimally invasive treatment for liver cancer that delivers radioactive microspheres directly into the blood vessels feeding the tumor. This targeted approach allows for precise radiation delivery to the tumor while sparing healthy surrounding tissue, offering a potential treatment option for patients with unresectable liver cancer.

Percutaneous Ablative Therapies: In addition to RFA and MWA, we offer other percutaneous ablative therapies such as cryoablation and irreversible electroporation (IRE) for the treatment of various solid tumors. These techniques use extreme cold or electrical pulses to destroy cancer cells while preserving surrounding healthy tissue.

Catheter and Port Placement and Removal for Chemotherapy:

Central Venous Catheter (CVC) Placement: We perform percutaneous placement of central venous catheters (CVCs) to facilitate the delivery of chemotherapy drugs and other medications. CVCs provide reliable vascular access for repeated treatments and minimize the need for repeated needle sticks.

Implantable Port Placement: Implantable ports, also known as chemoport or port-a-caths or mediports, are devices implanted under the skin to provide long-term vascular access for chemotherapy administration. We perform percutaneous placement of implantable ports to improve patient comfort and convenience during treatment.

Port Removal: When chemotherapy treatment is completed or if the port is no longer needed, we offer percutaneous removal of implantable ports. This minimally invasive procedure is performed under local anesthesia and allows for prompt recovery with minimal discomfort.
