In the quest to become a super-specialist in the field which always fascinated him he decided to elevate his expertise further and completed his super-specialty surgical training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, under the mentorship of Dr. P. C Gupta, from CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. His dedication to advancing medical education is evident through his role as faculty at the same institution, where he significantly contributed to various post-graduate training programs and workshops for dialysis access and vascular surgery workshop. He has been one of the COVID warrior, saving limbs and lives of the patients affected by clots in legs due to covid-19 infection.
Currently serving as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at CARE Hospitals in Banjara Hills and HITEC City, Hyderabad, Dr. Rahul Agarwal has carved a niche for himself in the medical community. His keen research interest, particularly in Vascular Access for dialysis like AV fistula, salvaging the failed fistula and saving a fistula from failing, has led to numerous papers and presentations at State and National level conferences, contributing to the collective knowledge in the field of Vascular Surgery and Vascular access. He also has special interest in diabetic foot ulcer, carotid Endarterectomy surgery and venous disease. His multifaceted approach, encompassing clinical practice, education, and research, solidifies his standing as a prominent figure in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
