Meet Dr. Rahul Agarwal, a distinguished Vascular Surgeon in Hyderabad with over 19 years of dedicated experience in the medical field. His educational journey commenced with an MBBS from Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences, Karimnagar, Telangana. Driven by a commitment to surgical excellence, he pursued his general surgery training at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
In his pursuit of specialized knowledge, Dr. Rahul Agarwal undertook a fellowship in minimal access surgery from World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon, while concurrently working at Kamareddy Government Hospital, which gave an insight into the minimal access surgery and paved way for better understanding of its advantages.
In the quest to become a super-specialist in the field which always fascinated him he decided to elevate his expertise further and completed his super-specialty surgical training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, under the mentorship of Dr. P. C Gupta, from CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. His dedication to advancing medical education is evident through his role as faculty at the same institution, where he significantly contributed to various post-graduate training programs and workshops for dialysis access and vascular surgery workshop. He has been one of the COVID warriors, saving limbs and lives of the patients affected by clots in legs due to covid-19 infection.
Currently serving as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at CARE Hospitals in Banjara Hills and HITEC City, Hyderabad, Dr. Rahul Agarwal has carved a niche for himself in the medical community. His keen research interest, particularly in Vascular Access for dialysis like AV fistula, salvaging the failed fistula and saving a fistula from failing, has led to numerous papers and presentations at State and National level conferences, contributing to the collective knowledge in the field of Vascular Surgery and Vascular access.
