Dr. P C Gupta completed his MBBS from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and completed his MS Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Dr. P C Gupta serves as the Clinical Director and Head of the Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology and Podiatric Surgery at CARE Hospitals in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, India. Boasting three decades of expertise in the medical realm of vascular and endovascular surgery, he is widely acclaimed as the premier vascular specialist in Hyderabad.
Dr. P C Gupta has garnered praise for successfully conducting operations on over a thousand patients from across the globe, approaching each case with dedication, passion, and a commitment to patient comfort, resulting in elevated success rates and adoration from his clientele.
His pursuit of excellence led him to a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Nagoya University School of Medicine, Japan. Additionally, he underwent specialized training in carotid surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, and complex aortic surgery at Methodist Hospital, Houston, USA.
Dr. P C Gupta's prolific career includes over 30 scientific publications in National and International Journals. Notable contributions encompass the documentation of the first case globally involving the operation of carotid aneurysms during pregnancy, chapters in textbooks, research on ischemia-reperfusion injury, varicose veins, neointimal hyperplasia, and stem cell therapy, among other groundbreaking topics. As a co-author, he has contributed to the Global Vascular Guidelines for the management of CLTI. Dr. P C Gupta also serves on the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, the European Journal of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, and Journal of Vascular Surgery: Vascular Insights. Further, he plays a pivotal role as a teacher and examiner for DNB in Vascular Surgery, showcasing his commitment to education and mentorship.
